Men with erectile dysfunction get pre-capture guarantees in rape cases

Nagpur: Additional Judge Session PF Sayyad last week allowed anticipatory assurance applicant from a man who was ordered for rape after he submitted a medical report that he suffered from erectile dysfunction.

He was also urged routinely to refrain from inducing fear of the complainant or influenced the witnesses.
The court, while providing a guarantee, also observed that the applicant’s custodian interrogation was not needed and that the Investigation Agency received enough time to investigate this problem.
The public prosecutor am Mahurkar previously thought that the investigation process was still ongoing and the defendant’s cellphone had to be restored from him.
Defense advisor Duhilani has argued that the arrest will lead to all kinds of discomfort to the applicant even though it becomes innocent.
