New Delhi: A group of men, some of them wore masks, breaking into a house in Jahangirpuri Northwest Delhi, threatening a 17-year-old girl who was alone at that time, and robbed cash and Jewelry Rs 10 lakh, police Sunday.
The incident took place Friday night when the girl’s parents were in their shop, they said.
The police said three-four unidentified men were allegedly breaking into the house and threatening the girl at the knife point, making her sitting in the corner and then look for a closet for cash and jewelry.
Police said all the incidents were arrested on CCTV cameras and defendants had been identified and efforts were made to arrest them.
After the incident, the girl called her uncle who then told the police.
The girl was not injured during the incident, police said.
The family accused that around Rs 10 lakh cash and several pieces of Jwellery lost from the house, police said.
Cases have been registered and efforts are made to arrest suspects, they said.
