Lucknow: A man tricked by Rs 16 lakh by a private company as a substitute with a pretext of the pretext of the Purvanchal Expressway construction work.
The complainant, Anil Kumar Nishad from Bahraich, is a machine and vehicle supplier and has a small company.
The defendant, Ashish Kumar Pandey, Sant Kumar Sahu and Nazim, met Nishad posing as other company owners and executives.
In October 2019, Nishad signed a work agreement RS 2.8 Crore under Purvanchal Expressway Package III, in Sultanpur with the people accused.
He worked for two months and had to be paid Rs 26.88 lakh but was only given RS 10.24 lakh only.
“When I insist on payment, they struggle me and threaten to kill me,” he said.
