Bareilly: Allegedly passed a tight security check from Mumbai Airport using fake documents, a man, 36, on a plane and landed at Bareilly Uttar Pradesh on tickets issued on behalf of his friend – who had fallen ill and had canceled the trip.
Aslam Ismail Lala, 36, was finally arrested two days later, on Tuesday night, when he tried to ride a flight back to Mumbai using the same document.

Lala then managed to avoid security officers at Mumbai airport and take a flight to Bareilly on Sunday, said Senior Police Supervisor (SSP) from Bareilly, Rohit Singh Sajwan.

Lala, along with other group members, reached Bareilly airport at night to ride a flight back.

SSP Sajwan told Tii, “We have completed a thorough inquiry and found that Lala came on flight tickets ordered in the name of Sheikh to attend the care at Bareilly.
