Patna: Septuagenarian was shot dead and his two sons were injured for allegedly demanding the contractor around RS13,000 as a wage for their work in the village of Pathlafar under the police station in the Sheikhpura district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhu Yadav (70).
The two injured sons were Nandan Kumar and Sonu Kumar, both of them in the early 20s.
Police said the two underwent treatment for bullet injuries.
Their neighbors of Dust Yadav are the main accusations in this case.
Dust is a labor contractor, which used to involve people from the Pathhaphar and neighboring villages in Delhi to work on daily wages, said the City Police Station Vinod RAM.
He said dust had taken Nandan and Sonu to Delhi where they worked for him for the past eight years.
“Payments around RS13,000 will mature with contractors.
Both of them have returned from Delhi along with several others, including dust, on Tuesday.
On Wednesday morning, the two brothers and their fathers reached the dust house and demanded money.
A fight Heated occurred and contractors fired at least five rounds of illegal countrymade weapons, killing Prabhu and injuring his two sons, “Sho said.
He said dust and some of his colleagues fled after the incident.
“Dust wife and other WEWan were arrested for supporting dust and helping him escape,” he said.
Sho said Prabhu’s eldest son, Awadesh Kumar had submitted 3 people, including dust and Phudan Yadav.
“They are avoiding catching.
There is no empty cartridge restored from the place,” he said.
