How do you want your car to feel the command you will provide and run things without you having to press any key or option on the touch screen? A car that really feels your mind and knows what you want? Mercedes-Benz has thought of the same line for some time now and they even have a new variant of the concept car that they first launched at CES 2020 first, according to reports by Mashable India.
This is the concept car of Vison Avtr and at the Iaa Mobility 2021 in Munich, Germany, the company exhibited a new version of it.
The car is rumored to be equipped with a BCI (Brain-Computer-Interface) device that you have to wear while in the car.
Think of Professor Charles Xavier, Mentor and Leader X-Men in the Marvel Universe, using Cerebro to find people.
While BCI devices here are not sekomplex with those charged by Professor X and much more complicated, it is certainly equipped with an electrode that is intended to be attached to the back of your head to work.
BCI headgear will need a little calibration first after it will record and measure brain activity, the report said.
Digital car dashboard will have light points, each may be related to various functions or tasks that can be given to cars and technology will work when you focus your mind at a certain light point, which will then be felt by the BCI Unit and the appropriate command released.
Here is looking at the previous car version.
VISION AVTR Inspired, not by Master Fictional Telepath Professor Xavier, but by the character of Avatar James Cameron, who can ‘speak’ with other species in their homeland by building a strong nerve connection.
Some other special features of the car concept are that it has no steering and previous versions can be guided by placing one hand on a touch sensitive surface that acts as a controller, there is a “bionic flaps” on the wheel back allowing cars with sprite-themed tires that can move to Side without having to rotate the car, mention some.
