The decision to start this scheme was taken a few years ago.
Under this scheme, students contributed included in the SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories, will receive free coaching from the private institute, to prepare for competitive exams.
Gautam said 46 training institutions were carrying out with the Delhi government under the scheme.
However, certain large institutes, including famous names in the field, did not participate in this scheme.
“They didn’t come, even after we asked for,” Minister said.
“Therefore, we make other provisions.
Now even if a student takes the entrance ticket directly at an institute, which is not the one that is returned, we will refund their costs,” he said.
A student, owned by a family with a joint annual income is Rs 8 lakh or below, eligible to apply for the Head of Minister of JAI Bhim Pratibha Vikas Yojana, added Gautam.
“The Delhi government works for people’s welfare, and poverty will not be a barrier to talent, such as through this scheme, students are able to achieve their dreams of qualifications for technical, medical, legal and civil service exams to be what they aspire to, “He said.
Gautam said at first only 5,000 students must be borne in the scheme, but then expanded to 15,000.
“And, I am pleased to notify that around 15,000 students have registered under the scheme.
The Institute of Coaching Slowly reopened, and the receipt process occurs, and in the next 10-15 days, the class must begin,” he said.
Gautam said another problem identified was that even after granting financial assistance, it was possible that students could spend RS 2,000-Hospital 3,000 on trips between homes and training institutions, which might be located far away.
“Can they be able to attend classes if they don’t have money? To overcome this problem, we decided to provide cash 2,500 per month, so that the person can pay for travel rates and spend the remaining money for books and stationery,” he added .
Another eligibility criterion is that students must pass to class 10 and 12 from schools in Delhi, and meet the feasibility criteria for specific competitive examinations, the Social Welfare Department is then said in a statement.
List of Embalance Coaching Institutes along with the number of seats allocated, available on the website of the Department of Social Welfare of the City Government, he said.
The student application, which register directly at the non-embalanel institution, after being received will be studied by the department and all eligible students will be permitted to take advantage of coaching from the non-embalanel Institute of their choice, depending on the availability of seats, the statement was added.
