Messi’s future in the air when the Barcelona contract ended

MADRID: Lionel Messi’s contract with Barcelona will end on Wednesday without news from players or clubs about his future.
The hope is that the 34-year-old Messi, who played Argentina in the Copa America, will stay at the Catalan club.
He was reportedly close to reaching an agreement to extend his contract for two more years.
