Gurgaon: The Government Haryana will be on Monday to take stock of oxygen plants in five districts – Gurgaon, Noah, Rewari, Faridabad and Palwal.
Two reviews will be held in Gurgaon and Faridabad, where ACS (health) Rajeev Arora will review the readiness for the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19.
The commissioner of the division and civil surgeon from each district will attend the meeting.
The districts have been asked for the status of the oxygen plan, the availability of nicu beds and triggers, vaccination and supply of important drugs, drugs and equipment.
They will also provide details of oxygen demand status, suppression of adsorption swings (PSA) produces plant and liquid oxygen plants in government and private set-up.
Arora previously directed all districts to increase their earliest oxygen bed and carry out the right assessment and inspection of covid care centers and dedicated Covid Hospitals.
He has asked the district oxygen audit committee to curb stocking or black marketing medicines and essential covid items.
Furthermore, all districts were told to increase sample collection and the combined daily target of 35,000 tests were set.
According to the Health Department data, Haryana currently has 170 ventilators, 482 bipap machines and 103 HFNC available for pediatric use.
A total of 82 ventilators are available in the warehouse for distribution.
Arora has put stress on vaccination, saying they must be accelerated and the 50% session must be exclusive for the second dose.
Virender’s Gurgaon Medical Officer Head Yadav said more second dose sessions would be planned in the coming week.
“Our focus is always the second dose recipient.
Now, we will hold at least 60% of sessions for them,” he added.
He also said that there were 11 PSA factories in government hospitals and 10 PSA factories in private hospitals while 20 other PSA factories were founded by private hospitals.
