Kolkata: South City and Bengal can be beaten by two consecutive low pressures this weekend and on Tuesday, with the second predicted to trigger heavy rain in the city and the surrounding districts.

According to Met Offices, local clouds that have been formed in South Bengal have triggered bathrooms since Wednesday and can continue until Sunday when depression tends to hit a gangetic bengal and kolkata.
The Met Office said the two systems could lead to river water surface increases, waterlogging in the city area, damage to plants and Kachcha roads.
People are advised to stay safe from lightning strikes and avoid old and dilapidated buildings.
