Metro Airport faster at 60 kmpj

Network 37 km worth RS 10,584 CR will have 17 stations
Metro to the airport will be the fastest train in the city, when it will be open to the public in 2026, with 3 passenger estimates.
The average speed of the train that runs between the yelahanka and airport terminal will be 60 km pH, which is almost double speed compared to the train engaged in other Metro corridors from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL).
This is mainly due to relatively straight alignment and long inter-station distances according to detail in the executive summary of the detailed project report (DPR) Phase II-B Corridor Metro from Kr Puram to Kempegowda International Airport.

Documents are available on the BMRCL website.
The speed of 60 km of train is very important because BMRCL is currently able to reach a pH speed of about 30 km on the existing network.
During a detailed simulation test, the speed of the train in the remaining part of the Phase II-B between Kr Puram and Yelakeka will only be only 36 km pH, the document is stated.
The document added that the train in the Metro Corridor Airport will be included in such a way that from the airport terminal to Hebbal, there will be a number of stops with high-speed travel facilities and from Hebbal to Kr Puram, there will be services that are often in accordance with the analysis of travel requests.
“Overall, there are 88 curves and 36.44% of falling in the horizontal curve on the stretch,” according to detail.
The entire 37-km network, it is estimated that the cost of Rs 10,584 crore, consists of 17 stations – Kasturinagar, Horamavu, Hrbr layout, Kalyan Nagar, HBR Layout, Nagawara, Veeranna Palya, Kodbal, Jakkur Cross, Yelakeka, Bagalur Cross, Bettahalasaru, Trumpet Junction , Kia West and Terminal Airport.
.
Officials estimate daily passengers to touch 4.32 lakh in 2031.
According to the document, BMRCL will use SuperStructure U-Girder Pretence Pretance, which will be transported to the site and established in a span using the road crane.
There will be two girers for each span to serve two tracks: “Because these units are established as one unit per span, the speed of superstructurous construction becomes very fast compared to segmental construction.
Because the dock cover must accommodate two girers, it must be wider and therefore Made as a prestress unit of precast.

Stretching will also get the latest technology available in the signaling control system and train known as communication-based train control (CBTC).
While BMRCL has taken the properties needed for the project, the utility has not resolved the contractor to carry out civil work.
No metro-cum-road flyover
BMRCL, which was originally planned to build a quiet metro-cum-road between Mahadevapura and Ramamurthy Nagar, has dropped the plan, quoting a lack of space.
As per the revised plan, BMRCL will add two new lanes near Lake Bentiganahalli for traffic that moves towards the corridor or hoskote from JyothiPuram.
Namma Metro, who has provided two new lines near the tin factory for traffic that moves from Kr Puram, will get additional lanes.
Work on adding three new lines may begin around a month because BMRCL is currently in the process of razing property.
