Chennai: The Metro Chennai train will be operated until midnight on Tuesday and Wednesday (November 2 and November 3) to facilitate people to leave the city for their hometown to celebrate Diwali.
Also, the frequency of five minutes peak hours will be extended until 10pm on both days.
After that, there will be a frequency of 15 minutes from 11pm to midnight.
Usually, train services ranging from 5:30 pm to 11:00 with a rush hour frequency starting at 17:00 to 8:00.
