Mexico City: Mexican City Officials will start offering the third covid-19 vaccine dose to residents over the age of 60 on Tuesday, officials, part of the government’s plan to launch a booster shot.
President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said last week the third dose would be provided as soon as possible, starting with parents who were more susceptible to Coronavirus.
The first driving shot in the large capital of nearly 10 million people will be a dose of astrazeneca given to the South Tlalpan environment, officials tell a press conference on Monday.
In order to qualify, people must have two initial doses six months ago.
The Ministry of Health on Monday reported 110 deaths again from Covid-19 and 752 new cases, bringing deaths since the pandemic began 295,312 and the total infection became 3,902,015.
