MGMT traffic lessons for students by Carmy City Corp

Ranchi: As part of the Azadi Celebration of the Amrit Mahotsava for Mark 75 years of Indian Independence, Ranchi Smart City Corporation Limited (RSCCL) held a three-day tour of students from various colleges and schools in the control center and the command center where the city was real time supervision and Traffic management is done.
On Friday, more than four dozen Loreto monastery students and DPS Ranchi visited the center and they were informed of the advancement of technology applied in the city as part of RSCCL.
The theme of the visit is the freedom of crime and traffic jams in the city.
Speaking with Toi, Public Relations Officers RSCCL Amit Kumar said, “We have started various programs to mark the 75th independence year and visits to control and command center is one of them.
We have invited students from schools and colleges and public representatives and Civil society members to create awareness among them about technology interventions that will make their lives easier.
“During their visit, students were given a direct experience of how to detect red light traffic (RLVD) and automatic number plate reader (ANPR) Helps city police in detecting traffic violations.
In addition, they are also notified of emergency call boxes that have been installed in 50 locations in the city and how they can be useful in an emergency.
RSCCL officials said students were also informed of the city cellular application system that could be used to send SOS to the control center and the center of the command.
Some students, who came for the visit, told TII that it was an experience that enriched them when they learned that technology and men behind traffic management and city supervision systems.
Prisha, who studied at the Loreto Monastery, said, “The surveillance system is really good because it can find anyone who has committed a crime through a network of cameras within the city limits and can help law enforcement agencies to arrest them.
Previously, I did not know about the application Cellular which can be used to tell authorities in an emergency RLVD and ANPR.
This technology is very good and if we can increase our path in the city, it will help create a safe road in the state capital.
“A student team was also taken for field experience where they witnessed the use of technology in the field.
The team was led by RSCCL General Manager (Technical) Rakesh Kumar Nandkeilylar and he demonstrated real-time supervision at Sahjanand Chowk and Hardu Chowk.
Previously on that day, RSCCL also organized Cyctothon at Ground Morhabadi to promote bicycle use as an option for urban mobility with a message to use bicycles.
