New Delhi: Not satisfied with the scope of the probe or findings of the three member committees that investigate the purchase and maintenance offer for 1,000 low-floor buses to be obtained by Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), the Interior Ministry union recommends a preliminary investigation by the CBI into this issue .
The source shows that DOPT, written by MHA on August 16 seeks actions to carry out the initial investigation of the CBI, may have continued the relevant files to the investigation body.
Preliminary questions can or may not produce FIR that will guarantee full CBI investigation.
The Delhi BJP unit has accused corruption in a low-floor bus agreement, the cost that was very previously denied by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

The main problem in the agreement is the DTC decision to divide the offer process by floating separate bids for bus purchases and for their annual maintenance.
The source shows that the separation of contracts may have led to monopoly and cartelization prices.
