Chennai: Madras High Court Cours Association (MHAA) – One of the biggest associations of lawyers – has transferred Madras High Court who wants to review his impressive command ‘minimum qualification’ for supporters who want to compete for the office of the association office carrier.
When a section of the Justice Division M Duraiswamy and Justice Sathya Narayana Prasad began their process on Thursday, Advocates G Mohana Krishnan mentioned seeking hearing petitions of urgent reviews.
He proposed that the condition imposed by the order on August 19 was practically unlikely to be followed and contrary to the law set by the Supreme Court’s order.
Allowing mention, the bench verbally instructs the Association Election Committee not to release the voter list scheduled to be released on December 17.
The court then directed the registry to register for a problem on January 7.
In accordance with August 19 orders that impose minimum qualifications, someone who is willing to contest must be a senior advisor with 25 years standing and must argue at least 50 cases before HC every year or 250 cases in the past five years.
The court felt that the minimum qualification was needed as a ‘many lawyers who had not even entered the campus of the High Court trying to become members and carriers of the Association Office.
The order was forwarded to the request transferred by Sathyabal’s advocate to increase a series of charges against their associations and functions.
He added that the Certificate of Practice Member must be verified because there is confusion about whether members are residents or non-residents of Chennai.
