Mangaluru: According to Civil Aviation Guidelines, Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) has started pre-ordering facilities for passengers who need to undergo RT-PCR tests on arrival.
According to MIA spokesman, RT-PCR and RPT-RT-PCR testing facilities were arranged in the Pre-Immigration Arrival Hall.
Similarly, fast RT-PCR testing facilities are also available in departure areas.
Flyers can take advantage of the same as visiting the Mangalore International Airport website.
This facility will mainly be useful for passengers who come from risky countries, which can now order previous tests, and continue to undergo the same on arrival.
Special test counters have been prepared for passengers who order their RT-PCR or RPT-PCR tests, and will save time taken for registration.
MIA has also established a sufficient waiting area for 92 passengers, six registration counters and two booth sampling, including 70 fast RT-PCR machines.
Mia also provides an adequate waiting area to accommodate 92 passengers equipped with bathrooms, food and beverage facilities, Wi-Fi and foreign exchange services.
