The software giant and cloud computing Microsoft has announced that it brings back old animated characters – Clippy – back to life as emojis.
This was confirmed by Claire Anderson, “Emoji-Ologist” officially Microsoft in an interview with the threshold.
“I grew using Clippy, and it looked like a pleasant little Easter egg.
We all imagine that pleasure when you put a paper clamp in Microsoft products and then suddenly, you get this nostalgic dose,” he added.
Clippy Triviato Recall, Microsoft uses Clippy as an interactive animated character that helps users to navigate through Microsoft Office Tools.
It comes at Microsoft Office for Windows – from version 97 to 2003.
However, it was stopped in Office 2007 when making criticism.
Microsoft emoji remodeled Clippy, Microsoft also made a large emojis overhaul throughout the window.
The company adopts a 3D display for its emoisers while moving on the design of2 D.
The new emoji design will display bright and saturated colors.
In total, Microsoft will cancel the design of around 900 emojis in the product including a Microsoft team.
The newly designed emojis is set to make appearances in all Microsoft 365 in the coming months.
According to the tentative timeline, Flipgrid will get access to new emojis next month and Microsoft team and Windows will get updates in the holiday season.
It is said to be followed by Yammer, Outlook, and other office applications.
