One of the better features of Chromebook is to allow support for various applications.
Now, it has been revealed that Microsoft kills its office application for Chromebook.
According to a report with AboutChromebooks, Microsoft has confirmed that the application for Chromebook will be removed from the Google Play Store.
A Microsoft spokesman told publications, “In an effort to provide the most optimized experience for chrome OS / Chromebook customers, Microsoft Apps (Office and Outlook) will be transmitted to the Web (Office.com) on September 18, 2021.
This transition brings Access customers Chrome OS / Chromebook to additional features and premium.
Customers need to enter with their personal Microsoft accounts or accounts related to their Microsoft 365 subscription.
“This does not mean that Chromebook owners will not be able to use Microsoft applications.

Microsoft will only offer an office on the Chromebook through its web application.
