Microsoft will let the non-smartphone explorers raise hands during team meetings by adding new features.
Participants who enter with a device other than smartphones can now ask to speak in a meeting by raising their hands through pressing “* 5”, which presses the asterisk and 5 at the same time on the number pad.
Until now, only those who join using a smartphone can do it.
But no longer.
If you enter a team meeting with your tablet, desktop or device connected to the internet that meets other requirements, you will soon be able to use this feature.
In accordance with Microsoft 365 Roadmap, “Presenter and organizers can now prevent PSTN participants from not damned.
This change also allows PSTN participants to ask to speak by raising their hands in a meeting through the Dial-pad command (press * 5).” Microsoft has not launched the feature though You might hope to see it soon, only this month, as part of the update.
The company recently introduced another new team function by combining work and personal accounts in the same application at the same time.
Previously, it was impossible to use work and personal profiles in the same application.
Update to the Microsoft team eliminates the need to switch between the two types of accounts.
After the update, when you enter, your account or school account must only be displayed as an application logo, while the person will be indicated by the logo in a white circle to distinguish it.
This is a slowly rolling update to the user and may need time to arrive if you haven’t got it.
