The United Nations: Prime Minister Haiti told Saturday the United Nations that the migrants would continue to try to reach more prosperous countries despite disrupting Haitian images detained on arrival in the United States.
“In the past few days, the treatment of several my colleagues on the border between Mexico and the United States has surprised more than one,” said Prime Minister Ariel Henry in a pre-recorded video speech to the General Assembly.
“Without wanting to oppose the rights of the sovereign state to control the accession of strangers to their territory, or send them back to their country of origin in illegally, we believe that many prosperous countries have been built by successive waves.
Migrants and refugees,” he added.
Tens of thousands of migrants, most Haitians have arrived in Texas on the border between Mexico and the United States since early September.
The violent scene of the US border guard by riding horses to face migrants this week made criticism widespread against the government of Joe Biden.
“This migrant problem must remind us that humans, father and mother, will always run away from misery and conflict and try to find better life conditions for their children,” Henry said.
“Migration will continue as long as there are areas of prosperity on our planet while most of the world’s population lives with precarious, sometimes extreme, without a better prospect of life,” he added.
