CHANDIGARH: Tributes have been pouring round the world as mythical Indian athlete Milkha Singh, 91, whose 400 metres Indian domestic album stood for 38 decades along with the 400 metres Asian album for 26 decades, died at age 91 after a lengthy struggle with COVID-19 on Friday night.
Singh has been struck by global golfer Jeev Milkha Singh and brothers Mona Singh, Sonia Singh along with Aleeza Grover.
According to police officers, his own cremation would be held at his hometown Chandigarh in 5 pm on Saturday with state honours.
Since he had been analyzed Covid drawback afterwards, his mortal remains are kept in his residence at Sector 8.
