Ludhiana: The proprietor of a newspaper mill has dropped Rs lakh to cyber fraudsters, that impersonated as customer maintenance officers of a private lender.
The sufferer had approached them later hunting the lender’s customer support number on Google.
On the criticism of mill proprietor Gurbir Singh of all Jhammat village, Sarabha Nagar police on Saturday registered a case against Samar Bahadur Patel of Surat, Raju Atha, Samrat Ali, Ishan Chaudhary and Sonali Mandal of West Bengal.
Gurbir Singh stated in his police complainant,”I’ve a savings account at the personal bank BRS Nagar division.
It’s Rs 11 lakh.
There’s a limitation of moving Rs 10 lakh each day.
Since I wished to raise the limitation, I searched Google to your lender’s customer support officials.
