Yamunanagar: The police have registered the case against the owner of two rice factories which are suspected of misuse of 3,293 metric tons (MT) which is worth the rice fluttering from RS 8.32 Crore.
Vijay Kumar Dahiya, District Manager (DM) from Haryana State Warehousing Corporation (HWC), Ambala, filed a complaint against the grind rice accused and they had been booked on July 8.
DM Vijay said that in the agreement, 54,229.50 rice quintals were handed over to the rice factory BS, Jagdhauli, and 37,175,625 Kuintals Paddy to another factory MS Agro Foods Rice Mill, Jagdhauli for Paddy’s custom milling for the harvest season 2020-2021.
HWC DM Vijay said the company failed to send total rice (CMR) that was customized to Indian food companies (FCI) on schedule.
“After a timely delivery failure, a Haryana State Warehousing Corporation committee verified the companies on June 19, 2021.
In physical verification, as many as 1,715.34 MT rice was found short in stock companies of the company BS and 1,578.09 MT Paddy found Short in the stock of other companies, MS Agro Foods Rice Mill, both are located in Jagdhauli Village in the Yamunanagar district, “said Vijay Kumar.
“The cost of rice 1,715.34 MT was found short in the stock of the company BS Rice Mill was carried out by Rs 4,33,57,852.
Similarly, the rice fee of 1,578.09 MT was found short in the stock company MS Agro Foods Padi was Rs 3.98,88,560.
By Therefore, the two companies have misused 3,293 mt of rice-custom-OLED worth around RS 8.32 Crore, “said the complainant.
Yamunanagar police have registered two separate cases each against the owner of the rice factory BS, Balinder Singh, and the owner of MS Agro Foods Mill, Jarnail Singh below the part 406 (trust criminal violations) and 420 (cheating) from the police code (IPC) in the office Police Chhappar on July 8.
