T’puram: Manufacturer of Regional Trivandrum Cooperative Milk (Truchpu) Milma has announced incentives of Rs 2 in every liter of milk obtained from dairy farmers in the four southern districts of February 1, given the increase in input costs and difficulties caused by the third wave of covid pandemics.
The decision was announced at the TrCmpu General Agency (GB) meeting, which was held on a digital platform on Thursday.
GB also approved the annual budget of trcmpu with RS expenditure.

1.50 of the incentives will go to farmers, the relevant milk cooperative will get 50 Paise as an additional margin.
Farmers Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and the Alappuzha District will benefit from the increase in procurement prices.
GB also approved amendments by details, including provisions to hold general elections by district.
