Chennai: Minister of Tourism Tamil Nadu Dr.
M Mathiventhan on Sunday checked the fair place of annual crackers in the land of Island in Chennai.
Briefing NewsPrsons on that occasion, he said that only green crackers sold at exhibitions consisting of around 50 stalls.
“Only green crackers fit standards that are alone are sold at the exhibition,” he said, responding to the query.
Asked about whether the state government would conduct an annual industrial trade exhibition, he replied that we would consult with the chairman of the minister in this case.
He further said that the tourism sector revived (after the second wave of Covid-19).
Noting that people can order rooms from TTDC hotels through online travel aggregators, he said, revenue on RS 4 lakh songs has been produced through the initiative on October alone.
