Min suggests recycled water to reduce the crisis

Thane: Metropolitan cities, including those in the Thane District are currently facing water shortages, will then have to recycle water for industrial users to overcome a large water crisis in this urban bag, said Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil.
Patil, made an announcement, participated in a review of the drinking water supply situation in the Thane district on Monday afternoon where he announced establishing a task unit led by the Thane collector to help form a way to resolve the water crisis here.
It can be noted that some metropolitan cities in the region include Mira-Bhayender, Kalyan-Dombivli and Thane City have faced the lack of acute water at the end of the rainy season itself.
“Growing urbanization in MMR including Thane has caused a surge in water requirements and existing water resources will soon fall inadequate.
The need for hours is to separate domestic and industrial use and treat and recycle wastewater generated from domestic areas for industrial purposes.
Unable to use water that is treated expensive for commercial use during the crisis, “said Patil.
It can be noted that the Thane district just roughly traveled around 2,500 million liters of water every day, sourced from the three main reservoirs – Andra, Bhatssa and Barvi.
Certain water cultures are allocated for each of the various institutions including stems, MIDC, MJP, among others, which further distributes pre-fixed supplies to local government agencies.
However, the increasing population in cities such as Thane has caused an increase in demand suddenly pursuing existing supply volumes.
Meanwhile, when questionable about the important construction of reservoirs in the Regency, Patil said he had asked the department to see the quick reservoir and Shai while he also convinced The Thane Corporation of the Promestion which ensured 100 MLD water supply from the Barvi Dam.
quick.
The problem of attacks that often occur in the MIDC line is also discussed together with scarcity of water faced by settlements at the legs of the yeoor, Kalwa and Mumbra.
