Gorakhpur: The Cabinet Minister for Labor, Employment and Coordination, Swami Prasad Maurya inaugurated the Migration Resources Center at Gorakhpur on Wednesday.
This center has been established under Aegis alongside Manav Seva Sanan Gorakhpur and the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The main guest on that occasion, Maurya expressed his happiness for the central establishment and said that security and migrant rights were among the BJP government priorities in the state and the center.
Manav Sansthan Director of Sansthan, Rajesh Mani said that the center will work with IOM for the welfare, security, and national and international migrant rights and every migrant can obtain information about problems related to migration via email or telephone.
This center will help hit migrants and I hope the migration resource center sets its identity as a model center, he added, “We will also work for the development of migrant families in Noida and Delhi NCR.” Head of Office, IOM, Sanjay Awasthi said non-residents were a valuable economic source for the country and gave a guarantee that IOM would work with Manav Sean Sanstan and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Mla Jatasashankar Tripathi said that the center would be proven to be a milestone in the welfare of migrant workers.
