New Delhi: Delhi observed another cold day on Republican Day after the minimum temperature was dipped in 5.8 degrees Celsius, according to the Ministry of India’s Meteorology.
The maximum temperature is likely to be completed by around 14-16 degrees Celsius, adding the weather bulletin.
However, the national capital records the lowest maximum temperature a day before i.e.
On Tuesday with a dive temperature of 10 degrees below normal and settled at 12.1 degrees Celsius.
“A cold day for severe cold day conditions is very likely in many parts of West Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi,” said IMD on Wednesday.
Previously on Monday, Senior Scientist IMD, RK Jenamsaid that cold waves will increase in Delhi after January 26.
He also said that there was no rain predicted in Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana until February 2 now.
In particular, Delhi has recorded the highest rainfall in January in 122 years after the city received 88.2 mm of rain on Sunday.
