Hyderabad: The Indian government has restored minimum referral wages for work at Gulf workers.
“The minimum reference wage (MRWS) for work in Gulf’s six countries is the same as in 2019-20.
For a short period of 10 months, MRW is adjusted down to protect our work in the bay.

The JAC Bay delegation went to Delhi in March this year during a parliamentary session and also met the Union Minister for External Affairs V Muraladheeer on wage issues.
Parliamentarians from all parties also submitted a request.
