PANAJI: The minimum temperature has begun to fall from October 27 in accordance with the Meteorology Department of India (IMD) and one degree Celsius below its normal value on Thursday.
This will continue to last 24 hours, said IMD.
The minimum temperature recorded in the Panaji on Thursday is 21C which is 2.6c below its normal value.
The maximum temperature, which has been on the higher side at 33C, has increased to 34C.
This will last for three to four more days, said IMD.
Gradually, as is reduced by the North component and most will be an easterlies at a lower level, the minimum temperature will rise to its normal value, said IMD.
There has been no rainfall activity above Goa due to a lack of significant humidity coverage.
The condition of the cloud-free sky was observed in the morning and night by IMD.
The wind in the lower level atmosphere above Goa is the northeastern component.
However, from October 30, there is a possibility of moisture attacks at various levels of atmosphere with a height of about 1.5 km.
It is possible that the formation of cloud and lightning is light to moderate which can continue for four to five days.
