Thiruvananthapuram: Tourism Union PA Mohamed Riyas has stated that the internet booking method of resorts under Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) will likely be updated by June ending with the addition of station manager applications to generate room reservation a hassle-free adventure.
The ministry assured the same through his visits to Hotel Mascot along with Hotel Grand Chaithram to examine the development of their renovation functions.
The updating of the internet booking process is the first big step to join prime qualities of KTDC to international tourism systems.
The machine will join KTDC hotels with important booking sites such as Booking.com, Agoda along with Indian reserving engines such as Make My Trip, GoIbibo along with IRCTC of Indian Railways, providing them greater global visibility, the ministry added.
“The continuing projects will boost the comfort and high quality of services of both of these top resorts of KTDC to global criteria.
The jobs will be completed within the time set for these,” Riyas stated after talks with tourism manager and KTDC MD V R Krishna Teja along with other senior officers.
The standard and selection of meals served in KTDC restaurants may also be improved by adding local delicacies from the menu, that will produce the meals served with them attractive to local sponsors in addition to tourists.
The service and ambience of allied centers in KTDC hotels are also enhanced, he added.
