Kolkata: West Bengal Minister Sadhan Pande has been hospitalized with severe lung infections, said a health official on Saturday.
The condition of consumer affairs and independent assistance and self-employment minister “very critical” and he has been supported by a ventilator in the ICU private hospital in Kolkata, he said.
The Septuagenarian rushed to the hospital on Friday night in a semi-conscious state after he complained of chest pain and shortness of breath, the official said.
The oxygen pande saturation is quite low and the doctor keeps the watch continuously at him, the hospital source said.
The four-member medical team that includes endocrine experts has been based on treating Pande, which has several comorbidity such as chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) and kidney disorders, he added.
