Kolkata: The Minister of Trinamool Senior Congress Subrata Mukherjee died at the SSKM Hospital on Thursday night after suffering from the stent thrombosis days after undergoing angioplasty.
He is 75 years old.
Mukherjee shifted to the ICU at around 8:15 a.m.
when his condition suddenly deteriorated.
CM Mamata Banerjee, who rushed to the hospital along with his cabinet colleagues, stepped out to say, “I never thought of the darkness like it would go down when we celebrated the led festival.

It also marks the end of the era in state politics and congresses who see a rapid increase in the local young Turkey, which falls as fast but then – much slower and gradual – reclaiming their own political space.
