New Delhi: Noting that the new National Education Policy (NEP) is not only the document but the philosophy of the guidance, the Minister of Education Union Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday called for its implementation quickly.

NEP approved by the Union Cabinet last year at a meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi replaced the 34-year-old national policy on the education framed in 1986 and aims to pave the way for transformational reforms in schools and higher education systems to make India the state global superpower.
