Singapore: The Minister of External Affairs Jaisankar has arrived here on the official three-day visit where he will call Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and will hold a series of meetings with other senior ministers, the Indian High Commission said.
Earlier this morning, Dr.
Jaishankar met Tharman Shanmugaratnam, senior minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policy.
“It’s nice to meet @tharman_s, senior Minister of Singapore and Coordinating Minister for social policy.
A good discussion of the international economic situation,” Jaisankar tweeted.
“Has a constructive discussion on global and regional economic priorities and deeper collaboration that we must build,” Tharman wrote at Facebook post on Thursday.
Jaisankar will also speak in the panel of “greater strength competition: The Emerging World Order” in Bloomberg’s new economic forum on Friday.
The High Commission said that the Minister of External Affairs arrived here on Wednesday night.
