Thiruvananthapuram: Anupama S Chandran, the daughter of a member of the CPM local committee, whose baby has been prepared for adoption by her parents last year without her knowledge, has submitted a defamation case against Minister of Fisheries Minister of Fitten Cherian to insult him in a speech.
He has filed a complaint with the Peroorkada police station.
“What the Minister is doing is a character murder.
It is my right to choose with whom I have to live,” Anupama said in his complaint given to the police.
Cherian squirts Anupama and her husband Ajith for the adoption line.
“His parents have done only what everyone will do in the community,” said Minister while speaking at a function on Friday in Thiruvananthapuram.
Even though he did not mention Anupama’s name or his father, the minister said parents could not be blamed for this.
He also made a statement about Anupama’s relationship with Ajith who already had a relationship with another woman.
“We are not against the opinion that the child must be brought back to his mother.
But for that it is not said that his parents must go to prison.
The emotions of his parents must be understood.
We all have girls,” Minister said.
Parents have many dreams about their children.
But when girls fall in love with someone who already has children at another marriage and give birth to a child from that person, what parents will do, he asks.
“After marriage, two or three children were born, then fell in love with the wife of a friend and after it fell in love with another young girl and a child was born in that relationship.
When parents questioned this, they were asked to go to prison,” said Minister .
CPM District Secretary Anavoor Nagappan is also very out in the adoption line.
“The media did not bother to find out the reality behind this controversy because he belongs to the CPM family.
It must be understood that Ajith has fallen in love with Anupama even before ending his relationship with a legal wife.
He was forced to end this relationship after the birth of a child from Anupama.
