Khanna (Ludhiana): Praising “efforts” included by the Cabinet Minister and MLA Khanna Gurkirat Singh Kotli for the construction of STP in Khanna, Minister of Local Government Brahm Mohindra stated that this would solve problems related to water / sewerage people in the electoral district.
STP is located near Majri Rasula which has been built with an estimated cost of Rs 124.03 Crores.
The Population of Khanna’s estimate was 1.37.107 and saw that it desperately needed this project for this city, this project began in 2017.
STP will take care of 29 million liters every day and the length of the sewerage line is 98 kilometers.
Similarly, there are nine tubewells, five water tanks and 104 kilometers of water supply lines that will solve all major problems related to water supplies.
Gurkirat Singh while handling the meeting began that this project was old because SND he could solve it with people’s support and various officials in the relevant department.
He also shares that work for wastewater channels and water pipes have also begun that will cover 10 kilometers so that they cover most of the Khanna constituency.
In addition, the remaining parts of Khanna will be borne under the initial Jiwan Mission JAL project, the minister is further informed.
On the other hand, Brahm Mohindra in his speech stated that the Congress government had fulfilled all his promises and would continue to serve the people with the main sincerity.
