Guwahati: Ahead of the assembly selection scheduled for 2020, Manipur Young Affairs and Sports Minister Lelpao Hokip on Wednesday left the National People’s Party and joined Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
NPP, led by the Chairman of the Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma, along with the People’s Front Dragon (NPP), the Lok Janashakti Party (LJP), TMC has helped BJP form the first government in the state in 2017 by sewing alliances.
