Dehradun / New Delhi: Ahead of the Polls of the Uttarakhand Assembly, Minister Harak Singh Prayed on Sunday was dismissed from the Cabinet of State and was released from BJP’s main membership for six years.
The chairman of the Minister of Pushkar Singh Dhami has also written to the governor about the removal of treatment from the cabinet, said the source.
Rawat had been dismissed from the cabinet by the Main Minister of Dhami and was also expelled from the primary party membership for six years, a spokesman for the BJP State Shadab Shams told PTI in Dehradun.
Welcoming the decision, Shams said this gave a strong message that BJP was a party that did not tolerate the infixes and not submit to any pressure.
Rawat, who represented the Kotdwar chair at the State Assembly, was said to have been looking for tickets for his father-in-laws, Gusain from Lansdowne selection and changing seats for himself.
Sources at BJP also said that for some time now, there was an unhappy report with BJP leadership.
He also associated with the Congress to return to the party, they said, adding that among other reasons, BJP expelled him for anti-party activities.
Attacked in the news recently when he threatened to resign from the Country Cabinet insisted on his demands for medical colleges in Haridwar.

The selection in Uttarakhand will be held in one phase on February 14.
