Panaji: The Directorate of Education has written to the state government which recommends that the exam for class X and XII are held in offline mode, a senior official at the office of the minister of the chairman.
The government will soon receive this call, he said.
The Directorate said that the exam had to be done after the Covid-19 protocol included a mask, inspection of body temperature, sanitis, and limited seating capacity.
The official also said that the Directorate had recommended to CM which in villages where cases of Covid can be ignored, schools must be allowed to start foressial classes.
Last week, the Covid-19 state committee decided to recommend to the government to reopen the school for class IX and X, and higher secondary schools.
However, it was said that the action plan in the form of the right SOP must be compiled by the government before deciding the reopening.
Schools must also be given time to prepare, said members of the Salkar Sykhar Committee.
Members feel that the lower class should not be opened.
“However, parents can decide whether they want their children to attend online class.
Options must be given to them.
All SOPs must be developed by the government, the Expert Committee cannot do so because we do not know the school structure,” he said.
The State Teacher Association is an agreement with the Expert Committee to start school.
The teachers stated that they wanted physical classes to start for students from higher classes as soon as possible, because students have lost a lot of time.
On September 19, after almost six months, the state government lifted the state-level fate of nights imposed at Covid-19 view, and had placed limits to limiting the spread of Covid-19.
The New Order of the State Government has allowed schools to be reopened, can be issued a separate standard operating procedure (SOP) by the Ministry of Education.
