New Delhi: The Ministry of Power on Monday Sais has circulated a design rule of renewable energy to find comments from stakeholders.
The ministry has circulated “electricity draft (promoting renewable energy through green energy open access rules), 2021,” the official statement said.
The ministry has searched for comments within 30 days.
These rules are proposed for purchasing and consumption of green energy including energy from waste plants to energy.
The draft rules will provide details for the obligation of renewable purchases (RPO); Open access green energy; nodal agent; Procedure for administration of open green energy access; banking; and subsidized cross costs.
The design of this design regarding the tariff proposes that “rates for green energy must be determined by the appropriate commission, which can consist of the average power purchase costs collected from renewable energy, cross subsidy costs (if any) and service fees include all wise costs From the distribution license holder to provide green energy “.
The design of the State Green Hydrogen rule is hydrogen produced using electricity from renewable sources.
The obligatory entity including the industry can also fulfill their renewable purchase obligations by buying hydrogen green.
The quantum of green hydrogen will be calculated by considering equality with green hydrogen resulting from one MWH of electricity from the renewable source or double.
The norms must be notified by the Central Commission, he said.
The design of this rule also proposes guidelines for open access to green energy and states that the appropriate commission will place regulations in accordance with this rule to provide access to green energy that is open to consumers who are willing to consume green energy.
All applications for open access green energy will be provided in a maximum of 15 days.
As long as only consumers who demand a sanction / burden of a hundred KW and above must be eligible to take power through access to green open energy.
According to the design regulation, there will be no power supply limit for prisoner consumers who take power under open access to green energy.
Further provided that reasonable conditions such as the minimum amount of time blocks where consumers will not change the quantum of power consumed through open access can be charged to avoid high variations in demand to be fulfilled by the recipient of the distribution license.
