Minor killed the Father for Drunken Fracas

Rajkot: A little boy, along with his mother’s uncle, was held for killing his father on November 1 in Moviya Village in Gondal Taluka.
The small boy told the police that his father tasked (50) used to get drunk and created a commotion.
The boy also said that his father used to beat him and other family members.
On November 1, Rathwa, instead of making a purchase for Diwali, spending money on drunk.
Then, his father fainted on the village road after he had too much, the boy told the police.
When the boy and his mother’s uncle, Shankar Kikeriya, had to know about Rathwa’s condition, they went to pick him up.
But after knowing that he had spent all the money for liquor, both of them were angry and decided to get rid of him.
They banged Rathwa to death with heavy stones.
The duo left a bloodstained stone near the body, returning home and pretending to be normal.
Then, the locals saw his father lying in a pool of blood and notifying his family members.
He was even taken to the hospital in Gondal where the doctor said he died before entering.
Initially, the police did not find clues or crime motives.
But then they became suspicious about the boy and asked him.
As long as it was questioned, the boy broke down and spilled beans.
On Tuesday, the boy was detained and Kikeriya was arrested.
Police said that Kikeriya was a native of Madhya Pradesh and Rathwa who came from Dahod and they used to work as farm laborers.
