Jodhpur: In a surprising incident, a 12-year-old girl, raped by two small boys at his village school, had delivered a baby at Jodhpur Hospital, said an official on Monday.
The girl conveyed the baby on Sunday night after she was accepted at the hospital by her parents, said the President of the Child Welfare Committee Rajasthan, Dhanpat Gurjar said, adding the girl and her baby was fine.
The girl’s parents first took her to the hospital near their village in the subdivision of imaging after complaints of acute stomach pain by their daughter, he said.
After knowing the pregnancy at the hospital, the girl’s parents wanted doctors to cancel the fetus there, but the local hospital found the case was too complicated and referred to the problem to Jodhpur Hospital and also told the police.
At Jodhpur Hospital, the girl told the police and the doctor that she had been raped by two boys in her school, said CWC’s head.
Even though the police continued to tighten this case, the department’s source said the two boys were named after the girl, being interrogated by them.
After knowing this case, CWC members met girls and parents on Monday and convinced them about all possible help in this matter.
The Rajasthan State Commission for the protection of children’s rights has also recognized the case and the chairman Sangeeta Beniwal will also visit his parents and parents at the hospital.
