New Delhi: A seven-year-old girl was sexually attacked during the wedding function in the Central Delhi Ranjeet Nagar area on Sunday.
The police have arrested the defendant who was one of the guests.
According to the police, after receiving information about the incident, they rushed to the place.
The girl was hospitalized and a registered case.
An officer said that they scan videos and photos of wedding functions as part of the probe.
“We found that the girl when playing went to a place where some people sat down.
One of them took her to an isolated place and attacked her,” the officer said.
“The accusation has recognized the crime.” (The identity of the victim has not been disclosed to protect his privacy in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court about cases related to sexual violence)
