New Delhi: A 15-year-old girl allegedly kidnapped and forcibly married a man in TIGRI extension.
The police on Thursday said they had caught three people in this case, including men with whom he married.
On August 8, 2021, the police had received information about the kidnapping of the girl from the Kalkaji area.
Deputy Commissioner of the Additional Police (Southeast) Surendra Choudhary said the victim’s family was nomadic and belonged to Ajmer in Rajasthan.
They lived on the path in Nehru’s place, he added.
“On January 10, the girl’s parents told the police that they had received a call from their missing daughter who stated that she was in the TIGRI extension area,” Choudhary said.
The team under Sho (Kalkaji) Balbir Singh was formed.
Probe revealed that this cellphone was active in the C-block area of ​​TIGRI extension.
“After verifying the door to the door in the area, a police team managed to trace the victim’s girl,” the officer said.
After further probes, police arrested three people – Ranjan Kumar (26), Jyoti (28) and Dileep Kumar (28).
Jyoti is the mastermind.
He and his girlfriend Dileep had kidnapped the poor girl automatically with the pretext of giving her new clothes.
“After that, Jyoti was forcibly considering the marriage of a little girl with her brother who was addicted to drugs, Ranjan,” said another officer.
The officer then claims that the minor is physically attacked too.
