Thane: After a video that misuses and behaves badly with traffic police go viral on the internet, Mira Bhayander’s police arrested the man involved in the incident.
The defendant was identified as Amar Singh.
He was accompanied by his wife Meena Singh, who was also seen arguing with the police.
However, he was not arrested and spared with a warning when he was pregnant, officials got information.
Senior Police Inspector Kailash Barve from Police Station Naya Nagar told the toi that the incident took place on July 8 when the defendant parked his car in the zone without parking in Mira Round.
But when the traffic police served in the wheel-locking area of ​​the vehicle, instead of apologizing and obeying the rules, the couple was misused and threatened.
The entire incident was arrested on the camera by the audience and the couple even behaved badly with them.
However, once Singh was arrested, his attitude towards the police took 180 degrees.
He not only apologized to them, but he even looked crying.
“We have ordered Amar Singh under Section 353 (violence or criminal to prevent public servants from issuing their assignments) IPC.
He will be produced in court on Friday,” said BREA.
