Karachi: In a surprising decision, Pakistani head coach, Misbah-ul-Haq and Bowling coach, Waqar Youngis has dropped from the role of each one month before the T20 World Cup.
Pakistani cricket board on Monday announced that Misbah and Waqar have resigned and that former Pakistani test player, SAQLAIN MUSHTAQ and Abdul Razzaq will be temporary coaches for now.
Sudden changes coincided with the induction of the former captain of King’s King’s test as a new Board chairman on September 13.
Ramiz on his YouTube channel and as a commentator and analyst stated that he did not believe Misbah and Waqar was the best coach for the Pakistani team.
Even the World Cup squad announced on Monday has the effect of Ramiz in the process of selection because it has tended to young players and the power bat in the T20 format.
“Given that I must continue to spend quite a considerable time from my family in a bio-safe environment, I have decided to withdraw from the role,” Misbah said in a statement.

PCB said that SAQLain and Razzaq will join the management of the team as an interim coach for the New Zealand series.
Misbah and Waqar were appointed in September 2019 and still had one year left in their contract.
Changes came with the side of New Zealand because it arrived on September 11 for three ODI and five T20IS and Pakistan to gather in Islamabad on September 8.
PCB said that team management for the T20 World Cup T20 men would be appointed in time.

“The bio-safe environment in the past 16 months has had an impact on them, something we have never experienced during our playy days,” he said.
“The next eight months will be busy and exciting for the Pakistani team and, as in the past, I will continue to return and comfort them.
I want to thank each and every member of the Pakistani Cricket Team setting when we stayed united in a good day And bad, and hope there will be brighter days in front.
“The Chief Executive PCB Wasim Khan said the PCB understood and respected Misbah’s decision.
