PANAJI / CALANGUTE: A 19-year-old girl from North Goa, who was missing since Wednesday morning, was found dead in semi-naked conditions on the Calangute beach on Thursday.
Police Inspector Calangute (PI) Nolasco Raposo told Ti that the autopsy report, conducted at the Goa Medical College (GMC) and the hospital, has linked the cause of death to sink and has put aside sexual violence.
Unnatural death cases have been registered.
The girl was last seen in Guirim where she was dropped by her father to continue the journey to her workplace in Porvorim.
