KOLKATA: Actor-BJP boss Mithun Chakraborty, who turned 71 on Wednesday, was almost contested by Maniktala authorities for 45 minutes following an FIR was lodged against him because of his supposedly inciting comments during a campaign rally in Brigade Parade Ground on March 7.
Mithun had transferred Calcutta High Court to quash the FIR.
The dad had requested him to join with the analysis nearly before it reasoned hearing the situation.
The coughing started after 10 am, police sources added and said that they place a few special posers into Mithun.
This included questions regarding why he uttered these opinions and if anybody had”taught him” to express those words.
On March 7, addressing a gathering on Brigade Parade Earth, Mithun had stated:”Ami joldhorao noi, bele borao noi…
ami ekta cobra, ek chobolei chhobi (Do not confuse me for a harmless snake.
I’m a cobra, may kill individuals in 1 snack ).” The dialog is out of his 2006 movie,’Abhimanyu’.
A Trinamool employee had filed a police complaint on May 6 from Mithun in Maniktala police station for”instigating and sparking” BJP employees on the grounds where an FIR has been registered.
From the complaint, it was alleged that the celebrity opinions including”marbo ekhane, laash porbe shoshane” and”ek chobolei chhobi” were supposed to excite BJP employees.
Mithun’s urge Biman Sarkar told TOI:”The high court had ordered him to appear before the investigating officer by video conference.
This was held Wednesday at 10 am.
Throughout the dialogue, Mithun-da stated that the Election Commission hadn’t pre-vented him by saying some other movie dialogues throughout his attempts.
“But in addition, he underlined that he didn’t utter the contentious dialogue through the 2021 elections that’s been credited to him.
Whatever he’d spoken in the meetings was using sign language.
There was not any usage of communicating to others.
Being an entertainer, these needs to mouth struck dialogues are typical.” Sarkar further explained: On being inquired when his gesture had triggered violence, Mithun-da stated he did not get that logic.
He informed the investigating officer he was repeating this dialog because 2006 and had never faced any problems sooner.
